利比亚国（阿拉伯语：دولة ليبيا‎‎），简称“利比亚”，是北非的一个国家，位于地中海南岸，与埃及、苏丹、乍得、尼日尔、阿尔及利亚跟突尼斯相邻。面积176万平方公里，首都的黎波里，国土面积176万平方公里，人口698万（2021年），主要是阿拉伯人，其次是柏柏尔人，全国划分成22个省，3个地区。

公元前3世纪，利比亚人在反抗迦太基帝国统治的斗争中曾建立统一的努米底亚王国。7世纪，阿拉伯人击败拜占庭人，征服柏柏尔人，带来了阿拉伯文化和伊斯兰教。16世纪，奥斯曼帝国攻占的黎波里塔尼亚（现利比亚西部地区）和昔兰尼加，控制了沿海地区。1912年，利比亚在意土战争后成为意大利殖民地。1943年初，法、英分别占领利比亚南、北部。二战后，由联合国对利比亚全部领土行使管辖权。1951年12月24日，利比亚宣告独立，成立联邦制的利比亚联合王国，后改名为利比亚王国。1969年9月1日，以卡扎菲为首的“自由军官组织”发动政变，推翻伊德里斯王朝，成立阿拉伯利比亚共和国。1977年3月改国名为阿拉伯利比亚人民社会主义民众国。1986年4月改国名为大阿拉伯利比亚人民社会主义民众国。2011年，卡扎菲政权被推翻。2013年5月，国名定为利比亚国。

利比亚现仍处于过渡期，政局动荡，暴力事件频发。2022年利比亚国内生产总值388亿美元，人均国内生产总值5465美元，国内生产总值增长率-5.5%。
