吉布提共和国（英语：The Republic of Djibouti；阿拉伯语：جمهوريه جيبوتي‎；法语：La République de Djibouti），简称吉布提，地处非洲东北部亚丁湾西岸，扼红海进入印度洋的要冲曼德海峡，东南同索马里接壤，北与厄立特里亚为邻，西部、西南及南部与埃塞俄比亚毗连，国土面积2.32万平方公里，全国共分1个市和5个地区，首都吉布提市，人口约110万，主要有伊萨族和阿法尔族。

殖民者入侵之前，吉布提由豪萨、塔朱拉和奥博克三个苏丹王统治。法国1850年开始入侵，1888年占领吉全境，1896年法在吉成立“法属索马里”殖民政府。1946年，吉成为法国海外领地，1967 年改名为“法属阿法尔和伊萨领地”，法国政府给予其实际上的自治地位。1975年12月31日，法宣布同意吉布提独立。1977年6月27日吉宣告独立，定国名为吉布提共和国。

吉布提共和国战略位置十分重要，国内有美军在非洲最大的军事基地、法军在海外最大的军事基地和中国人民解放军的保障基地。吉布提是世界最不发达国家之一，其国内自然资源贫乏，工农业基础薄弱，且政局不稳，2021年吉布提国内生产总值33.71亿美元，经济增长率4.3%。
